Ashish SS14 is… well, a bit more than dirty, junky, indie, greasy and kitschy than usual. Ashish Gupta, the Hindu designer that is based in London, served as this for summer… a big portion of potato chips and Coca-Cola. And lots of Bollywood films. The models here had green hair, glitter shoes, sequined trousers with very big holes and “fake” looking like t-shirts with Hindu signs and Coca-Cola logo. In other words, a circus. This collection is very Ashish- sequins, that are beloved by this designer were everywhere… but don’t you have a feeling of digestion problems and a bit of disgustment with this lot of “things” here?
